science? “you should get a degree in it from whatever university!”

blogging? “you should partner with advertisers!”

snacks? baking? “you should sell them on instagram!”

crochet? soap? watercolor? “you should sell that on etsy!!”

why do i have to turn something i love into money? why can’t i just do it and be happy? what is the point of working myself to the bone for something i like? why? why? why?

there is no string of curses that so swiftly and thoroughly destroy my motivation and passion as “you could really do something with that”
